Why should I pay for email?

We believe your email should belong to you. When you use other free email services you no longer control your own data. You sign away your rights and in turn become the product itself. The purpose of these platforms offering free email services is data collection. They own your data for the purposes of delivering targeted advertising and data mining. Without question, no business should ever operate on a free email platform.

Typewire offers are free email plan with minimal features for basic email needs. We offer our free plan in the hope that users may choose to upgrade to one of our paid plans which further support the development and improvment of Typewire. Our free plan includes the same privacy and security guarantee of our paid plans.

Do you offer a free trial?

Typewire offers a 7 day free trial for up to 5 users. For accounts over 5 users we offer a 100% refund guarantee within 7 days. If you cancel within the 7 day trial period you will pay nothing. We do require a valid credit card during the free trial sign-up process for account verification. At the end of the 7 day free trial period your credit card will be billed for your first month of service based on the pricing plan you have chosen. You may cancel Typewire's services at any time during your billing cycles.

Can I choose my email address?

You must choose an @typewire email address during the account setup process. You can chose any email address from the domains listed below provided it is not already assigned to another user. Premium account holders may also add their own domains to Typewire. Premium account owners can also choose the email addresses assigned to users under their control.

How do I switch to Typewire?

Switching to Typewire is easy and secure. Simply follow the steps here for a simple migration process.

Step 1: Download and install Thunderbird on a desktop or laptop computer.

Step 2: Add your old email account to Thunderbird.

Step 3. Enable IMAP and SMTP access in your Typewire account.

Step 4. Add your Typewire account to Thunderbird.

Step 5. Drag and drop emails and folders from your old email account to your Typewire account.
